FAQ

Dealership social media advertising FAQs

Which social media platforms do you advertise on?
Facebook and Instagram, run together through Meta’s advertising platform so one campaign can reach both feeds, Stories and Reels with placements chosen by performance. They carry the audiences and the location targeting a dealership needs. Other platforms are added only when your market and budget justify them, and they report into the same performance view.
Can campaigns feature our current inventory?
Yes. Inventory campaigns use a catalog built from your available vehicles, so the ads show real models, trims and photos from your lot and update as units arrive and sell. Shoppers who viewed a vehicle on your website can be shown that vehicle or similar ones again, which is where much of the response comes from.
Can you promote our monthly lease and finance offers?
Yes. Offer campaigns are built from the same lease and finance programs we publish across your website and offer cards, with the required advertising disclosures included in the creative. When an offer changes or expires, the campaign is updated or paused with it, so a shopper never clicks through to a payment that is no longer available.
How do you target shoppers in our market?
Targeting starts with geography, the cities and radius your dealership actually sells into, then narrows by in-market and interest signals, by people who have visited your website or engaged with your content, and by lookalike audiences built from your existing customers. Audiences are reviewed as results come in and adjusted toward the segments that respond.
Do you create the advertising graphics and copy?
Yes. Ad creative, headlines and copy are produced by our content and creative team in the sizes and formats each placement needs, following your manufacturer’s brand standards and advertising rules. Your dealership reviews the creative before a campaign launches, and new versions are produced as offers change or as performance shows what is working.
How do you measure campaign performance?
We track the actions a dealership can act on: phone calls, lead-form submissions, website conversions and, where your store shares it, leads that became appointments and sales. Reach and engagement are reported for context, but campaigns are judged on cost per lead and lead quality, and that is what the monthly reporting is built around.
Can campaigns send shoppers directly to our website?
Yes. Campaigns can send shoppers to a vehicle page, an offers page or a landing page on the website you already have, with conversion tracking in place so those visits are measured. Lead-form campaigns that keep the shopper inside Facebook or Instagram are also available, and leads from those are delivered to your CRM or inbox.
How is the advertising budget determined?
The budget is set with you, based on your market, the inventory and offers you need to move and the cost per lead your store can support. We recommend a starting level, divide it across campaigns by opportunity and shift spend toward what is producing leads as data comes in. You approve any change to the total.
